Supervision

Gestalt supervision

My approach to supervision is based on the dialogical perspective in Gestalt therapy and is thus relational. This means that the focus is on exploring and better understanding what is going on between you and your client and how this is affected by the wider context for both of you. We will also apply this perspective to our supervision work together and try to find new opportunities where things are stuck, as well as gaining new insights about yourselves.

Why Gestalt Supervision ?

Gestalt supervision refers to the processes of experiencing, perceiving and acting that are relevant and mutually dependent between people.

Supervision is an important support for professional development and the development and expansion of one's own work and practice. It aims to expand one's own skills and ensure the safety and well-being of all those involved in the work context.

Working Areas

I offer both trainee supervision and professional/clinical case supervision for working with clients and the development of therapists, coaches and anyone who leads a team or works in a supportive individual role, both in my practice and online.

My many years of experience in team counselling and supervision are in the fields of psychotherapy and psychiatry, schools, social work and socio-educational services as well as adult education.

I have a particular interest in supporting newly qualified therapists in the early stages of their private practice and helping them to develop their own professional style and identity.
